Sammy the sad slug is sad because people keep pouring salt on his friends!?!

Another piece of random hardwood kindling hand carved ... I can honestly say I had no idea what this was when I started it. It began with the eyes, no more than a couple of spheres, and then I knew.

Hardwood kindling
Thinned indian rosewood stain
Gloss Varnish

Poor Sammy... lovely slug carving!
Thanks! I'm sure sammy'll get over his grief once I start planting out the veggies and he realises there's all the more for him?!

yes that cheers our local slugs up no end! Not to mention the bunnies.
I hate rabbits ... we live in a virtual sea of them, so far this year they's eaten all of my polyantus, a hydranga and a honeysuckle. Last year all they left were some broad beans (that the wasps got) and three potato plants.

I fear though I may need to overcome my loathing of them as I think our cat may be about to settle down and have a litter with one :jackdirt: :angered:

Now that would be a first! Is that how they breed rats maybe?
I wouldn't be surprised! LOL

Yes, sammy was meant to be. Cute little bugger.
He certainly was! Of course, for a moment there, he was meant for the fire too LOL
